The Brick
‘The Brick,’ (written by Selma Dabbagh, produced and directed by Sarah Bradshaw, music by Reem Kilani, starring Sirine Saba and Anton Lesser) was broadcast as an afternoon play for BBC Radio 4 in January 2014.
Rasha Khoury travels to the old city of Jerusalem from the village on the other side of the wall where she now lives. Sent on errands by her mother and for her brother, she has her own personal mission. During her journey she hears perception of her beloved late father that unsettle.

Sleep It Off, Dr. Schott
2048, Palestine. A national referendum petitioned for by the far right in Israel has caused nationals with less than 50% Jewish DNA to be deported. In Gaza, the Secular Scientific Enclave is seeking to attract expelled scientists, to help in the construction of a high speed hyper loop. A young, lonely psychology graduate is sent in by the Enclave’s General Assembly to monitor the budding romance between the Israeli-born Dr. Schott and the Palestinian Prof. Kamal who have been teamed up to work on the project.
Produced by Jan Buck and Directed by the award winning Vivien Schütz, this play is due to be broadcast in 2019 by WDR radio, Germany.
